Sports Coaches - MIC Unijobs DAC are currently recruiting a number of Sports Coaches to engage within Mary Immaculate College in Limerick for the up and coming academic year. We are looking for each coach to commence ASAP and the contract will be length of 8 months generally depending on the length of competition for each specific sport. Hourly rate as below: Coach hourly rate: €47.58 Match hourly rate: €19.25 Please highlight the coaching role you wish to be considered for in your application/CV. The coaches required are listed below: Mens Rugby Coach Womens Rugby Coach Ladies Soccer Coach Hours will vary week to week The start and end dates will depend on matches and competitions. Similarly, the hours per week will be dependent on training, matches and tournaments and will vary from 3 - 30 hours per week approximately. Flexible working hours which may include weekends. Job Description Number of hours per week depends on number of training sessions and matches, and whether they are home or away Duties of the coach: Conduct and supervise/manage training sessions Schedule and attend matches Ensure students are eligible to play in the relevant competitions and are registered to do so Maximise participation Ensure all equipment required is set-up, maintained and returned after use Ensure all jerseys are returned after use Liaise with the sports office Report any injuries, health and safety issues to the sports office Ensure students are insured through the MISU insurance policy before playing or training for the college. The work is broadly defined and the list of duties above is not exhaustive. The performance of the entire range of duties is not necessarily confined to any one individual, as the work requires that the staff function in a flexible manner and work together as a team. The College retains the right to assign new duties and/or re-assign staff to other areas of the College in response to service needs.
