Job Description
Architect and implement innovative analytic solutions, drive adoption, and measure impact at McKesson, improving existing solutions and developing statistical models in production.
The purpose of this role is to design, implement, and drive the adoption of innovative analytic solutions at McKesson, while making significant improvements to existing solutions. This involves developing and implementing complex analytic frameworks, statistical models, and decision-making tools that drive business growth and improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Develop inventory optimization and multi-echelon simulation frameworks for supply chain management
• Support transportation organization's forecasting and optimization needs, and predict late delivery risks
• Design and implement model variance analysis and impact tracking frameworks
• Lead the development of statistical simulation decision frameworks
• Support stakeholders' analytic needs, gather user requirements, and drive adoption
• Cultivate business development opportunities and assist in maintaining long-term stakeholder relationships
**Requirements**
• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or programming, with a combination of industry and academic experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or related quantitative/STEM majors
• Master's and/or Ph.D. preferred
• Demonstrated ability to tackle problems across the full data stack, from data wrangling to stakeholder consumption
• Deep knowledge of machine learning and data science best practices
• Strong grasp of fundamental statistical concepts, including linear regression, A/B testing, and probability distributions
