We are in an accelerated growth phase and looking for a highly motivated and accomplished Embedded Software Engineer Manager to join our growing team. As a part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and products, from conception to deployment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage, mentor, and grow a global engineering team.
- Define, implement, and oversee development processes to ensure high-quality and on-time product delivery.
- Set standards for code quality, reliability, and maintenance.
- Conduct design and code reviews.
- Work with product managers and technical program managers to set development priorities and manage project scopes.
- Represent the engineering team in customer engagements, gather and analyze customer requirements, and drive solutions.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. MS/PhD degrees are preferred.
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong foundation in system architecture and clean code.
- 4+ years of experience in managing a software development team with direct reports.
- 4+ years of experience in a technical lead or architect role.
- Experience in managing engineers located in multiple countries.
- Experience in managing multiple parallel projects.
- A track record in planning, developing, and delivering embedded software products for automotive customers.
- Experience in partnering with product managers and technical program managers.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Expertise in debugging complex software in Linux or similar environments.
- Familiar with software stacks on automotive HPC (High-Performance Computing) ECUs.
- Experience in application development on Linux or similar operating systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The salary for this position is €120,000 - €162,000 per year. The Company reserves the right to modify this range in the future, as needed, as market conditions change.
