Lead a high-performance engineering team in the development of Ser Des solutions for AMD's CPU, GPU, and FPGA products.
We are seeking a passionate and collaborative leader with strong technical skills to manage a Silicon Engineering group and innovate with internal teams and external partners to create the next generation of computing technologies.
The ideal candidate has experience leading others in technical and managerial settings, excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills, and a strong background in analog circuit design and analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a high-performance engineering team
- Nurturing talent and growing team capability
- Collaborating with multi-functional leaders to drive AMD's success
- Providing input on circuit design topologies for next generation Ser Des
- Participating in design reviews of other circuits
- Communicating with Ser Des circuit team members
Preferred experience includes:
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Proven experience managing and leading engineering teams
- Good analog circuit design and analysis skills
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to summarize complex problems
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently
Academic credentials include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering
