Job Title: Senior Manager - Security
Job Summary:
Lead and manage security operations across multiple sites in Ireland and the Netherlands, ensuring the protection of people, assets, information, and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take local accountability for the protection of Amgen People, Assets, Information, and Reputation
- Lead cross-functional teams and site leadership in security threat and risk management
- Assure site functions and departments prioritize and project manage to meet global security program strategy
- Handle diverse issues requiring evaluation of various factors, including Supply Chain, DTI, Engineering, Facilities, Real Estate, Finance, Compliance, HR, External Law Enforcement, and Corporate Neighbors
5 Pillars of Global Security Program:
- ADL, ABR, UKIE, IEHD, and IEHW
Leadership & Consultancy:
- Lead site-level planning, functional incident response, and management
- Create security education and awareness
- Ensure, support, and comply with standards and policies
- Prevent loss
- Articulate and socialize security threat, vulnerability, and risk
- Project manage
Investigations & People:
- Lead, support, and identify locally security investigations
- Monitor for indicators of workplace violence
- Manage site Tactical Communications where present
- Support travel security to and from sites
- Support executive security activities as it pertains to site or countries
Operations & Technologies:
- Maintain physical security of sites
- Manage access control and ID protocols
- Manage, measure, and lead contracted guard company
- Own site security plans, identify, and propose continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain and comply with GS policies, standards, and SOPs
- Plan, risk assess, and support special events
- Maintain cross-site security exchanges, workshops, and best practice learnings
Supply Chain:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrity of drug products and seamless integration of supply chain activities
- Conduct security assessments and audits
Emergency & Crisis Management:
- Maintain and support emergency and crisis response plans
- Be a member of the IMTs
- Lead and counsel on security elements of emergency or crisis management response
- Participate in and support training and exercises
- Monitor wider country alerts and socialize potential issues
- Participate in business park security initiatives and develop further security networks
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' security industry experience
- Security qualification
- Working knowledge of contracted security
- Ability to understand and articulate nuances of security risk in collaborative, partnered relationships
- Ability to analyze complex data feeds and communicate findings, knowledge share, and make recommendations
- Advanced experience and capability with Excel, Word, and Sharepoint
- Current driving license
