You will be a part of the Global Strategy team and report to the VP of Strategy responsible for leading and overseeing the pricing strategy and execution for customized contract manufacturing proposals. In this role you will play a critical role in assessing project requirements, evaluating costs, determining pricing models, and ensuring competitive and profitable pricing structures. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies for customized contract manufacturing proposals, considering market dynamics, customer requirements, and company goals. Pricing Analysis: Conduct thorough cost analysis, including direct and indirect costs, labor, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses, to determine accurate pricing. Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks, and make data-driven pricing recommendations. Proposal Development: Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to understand customer needs and create customized contract manufacturing proposals. Develop pricing models and tools to facilitate efficient and accurate proposal generation and commercially competitive. Contract Negotiation: Participate in contract negotiations with customers, leveraging your pricing expertise to drive favorable agreements while maintaining profitability. Provide guidance and support to the Sales team during contract negotiations, ensuring pricing terms are clearly defined, understood, and adhered to. Pricing Process Enhancement: Continuously improve pricing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Collaborate with the Finance team to align pricing strategies with financial objectives, forecast revenue, and monitor pricing performance. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred. 8+ years of experience in pricing strategies and analysis, specifically in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Strong understanding of contract manufacturing processes and the ability to translate technical requirements into pricing models. Proficiency in financial analysis, cost accounting principles, pricing methodologies, pricing software, and relevant tools. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to make informed pricing decisions. This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement in which you can work remotely from your home. The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
