Job Description

Process Sciences is a technical services department that deals with a range of scientific, technical, engineering, and mathematical needs from the laboratory to the manufacturing floor. Process Sciences support the following areas Upstream Sciences, Downstream Sciences, Analytical Technologies, IPC lifecycle, Data Analytics, Manufacturing Support, Process Validation and Process Solutions. As a Sr Process Engineer a typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following: Delivering process solutions to IOPS and generates best in class laboratory, computational simulation, and process validation report packages. Determining the root cause(/s) of process related deviations using scientific and engineering data-driven rationale. Participates and leads cross functional teams to understand process issues in technical process and laboratory investigations. Designing and executing computer simulations to recreate process scenarios, troubleshoot and optimise process steps. Appling engineering principals to issue knowledge base reports summarising conclusion of studies, investigations, and process improvements. Supporting technology transfer initiatives as a subject matter expert. Providing audit and regulatory submission support where applicable. Working effectively and efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Exhibiting strong written and oral communication skills. Influencing a non-technical audience. Presenting findings at group and interdepartmental meetings. Providing coaching and mentoring to junior members of the team.
