Join AWS as a senior systems engineer to spearhead the European Sovereign Cloud initiative. Collaborate on building operations and development teams to deliver high-availability AWS services to EU customers. Key responsibilities include overseeing ESC launch, working with global AWS teams, and influencing AWS services and technology. This role involves collaborating with technology leaders, contributing to daily operations enhancements, and ensuring improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency. Participate in "on-call" rotations to resolve incidents. Qualifications:
* 9+ years of systems engineering experience
* Proficient in leading SOP creation and revision
* Proficient in scripting processes and troubleshooting
* Experience in cross-organization leadership and mentoring
* Experience in performance tuning and fleet optimization
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code
