Position Title: Staff AND Senior Grade Physiotherapist

Department: Primary Care Centre

Location: Limerick

Reporting to: Senior Physiotherapist/Physiotherapy Manager

Salary: Competitive, in line with HSE pay scales

Contract: Fixed-Term contract

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday

Job Description: They are seeking both Staff and Senior Physiotherapists to join their dedicated team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat adults with a variety of physical conditions. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy interventions for adults with acute, chronic, and long-term conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech and language therapists.
  • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and lifestyle modifications.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Senior Role Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of physiotherapists and provide guidance and mentorship.
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage complex cases and provide specialized expertise.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
  • CORU registration or eligibility.
  • Experience working with adults in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently.

For Senior Physiotherapist:

  • Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Expertise in handling complex cases.
