The Physiotherapist will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to enhance the overall quality of life for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Use a range of therapeutic techniques and interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and electrotherapy.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and educate patients on condition management.
- Prepare patients for discharge by ensuring continuity of care through appropriate referrals to community services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- CORU registration.
- Experience working with adults and older persons in a hospital, clinic, or community setting.
Competencies:
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
