As a Staff Data Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in building a cutting-edge, cloud-native AWS data platform completely from scratch. This brand-new project will give you the chance to shape the entire design, development, and implementation process using top-tier AWS technologies like Lambda, Glue, S3, Athena, Snowflake, and more. Leading a small team of two data engineers, you’ll not only provide technical guidance and mentorship, but also help steer the company’s long-term data strategy. With clear growth potential, including a path to Head of Data, this role offers unmatched career progression. You’ll also work hands-on with innovative AI tools, driving actionable insights for clients and ensuring you stay at the forefront of emerging technologies. You will: Build and launch a 100% greenfield AWS Data Platform from ground up! Leverage AWS tech stack: Athena, Glue, Lambda, Snowflake Gain exposure to AI to drive innovation Enjoy a flexible hybrid working model in a modern, city centre location Lead a small, impactful team of 2 Data Engineers Progress into Head of Data Skills/Experience: 10 + years of experience in Data Engineering Proven experience in leading, building and designing an AWS data platform Must have previous leadership experience Salary: €100,000 – €125,000 DOE + 15% bonus + 5% pension + health insurance + more Eligibility to work in Ireland (Stamp 4/EU citizenship) is required.
