ROLE PURPOSE Staff Physiotherapists are required to rotate through the following: ICU/cardiothoracic units Orthopaedics Medical/surgical wards covering respiratory, oncology, neurology, mobility/falls assessment QUALIFICATIONS Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy CORU registered Continued Professional Development Diary including evidence of reflective practice, In-service training, courses attended and Clinical Governance gained Some of the key responsibilities are: Responsibility for the provision of a high quality physiotherapy service Carrying a clinical caseload appropriate to the post Seeking advice from a more senior member of staff when needed Assessing, planning, developing, implementing and reviewing of individualised treatment/intervention patient centred programmes Goal setting in partnership with patient, their family and other team members using their specialist clinical skills and knowledge Developing appropriate and individualised patient education and discharge planning and utilise available resources for same Collaborating with other health care team members Why work at the Blackrock Clinic?
