Company is building out a new team - this role is one of its key roles Extremely competitive benefits with only 2-4 days in the office per month Contribute to one of the company's most crucial systems This Staff Java Engineer role is with a well-recognized name in the global fintech space - with headquarters around the world, they're currently expanding their headcount in Dublin as a result of good profits in the last few years. As part of this, they're looking to build an entirely new team for Ireland. This new team would be focused on one of their most core systems vital to the company's expansion. Specifically, they're looking for a Staff Java Engineer to continue expanding their client-facing platform related to the company's liquidity. This will come in the form of new features and applications as part of the platform and with several technical challenges due to the scale and robustness of the platform. The main tech stack they use is Java, Spring, Kafka, Azure, big data (Spark/Hadoop) and SQL Server, as well as a microservices-based architecture. A great opportunity to join at an early time with a lot of room to make an impact. The ideal candidate for this Staff Java Engineer position has extensive Java stack experience with strong experience in Spring. Additionally, they're comfortable in a cloud / microservices environment (Azure or AWS). Experience with big data technologies (Spark/Hadoop), MQ (Kafka/RabbitMQ) and frontend technologies (React/Angular) is a huge bonus!
