**High-Speed Serial Interface Systems Designer** Design and implement high-speed serial interface systems for CPU, GPU, and FPGA products, utilizing advanced mixed-signal layout techniques and CMOS Fin FET manufacturing processes. **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled designer to join our Serial Transceiver team, responsible for designing high-speed serial interface systems that accelerate next-generation computing experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mixed-signal layout techniques, CMOS Fin FET manufacturing processes, and experience with industry-standard tools. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and layout of analog and digital circuits, including CTLE, DFE, and Multi-GHz PLL design for Rx & Tx serial solutions running up to 200+Gbps * Top-level, block-level floorplanning, and knowledge of layout effects and best practices * Experience with matching and interdigitation techniques, as well as design rules, parasitic effects, IR drop, and isolation techniques * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams, including remote design teams * Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso 12.2 or newer and Skill programming language a plus * High-speed analog circuit layout experience a preference **Requirements:** * BS/BEng (Hons) with 7 years of experience * Advanced knowledge of mixed-signal layout techniques and hands-on experience with layout on advanced nodes (28nm and below) * Knowledge of layout effects and best practices * Experience with industry-standard tools, including custom layout entry and physical verification * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams **About AMD:** AMD is a leading technology company that transforms lives with its innovative products and solutions.
