Staff Nurse: Cardiac Cath Lab - Join our multidisciplinary team at St. James Hospital to deliver high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions.
As a Staff Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab, you will be responsible for managing patient care and ensuring quality is maintained. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based nursing care and develop additional clinical skills specific to cardiology nursing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate highly specialized nursing care using a holistic approach.
- Observe, assess, and record symptoms, responses, and progress when providing direct patient care.
- Supervise and assess Student Nurses and other junior staff in the clinical area.

Requirements:
- Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Have a minimum of 1 year's experience in General Medical/Surgical nursing and 6 months' experience working within a Cardiology area in an acute hospital/relevant clinical area within the last 3 years.

Desirable Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care/Cardiovascular nursing.
- Working knowledge of healthcare patient record systems.
- Basic life support.
