Job Description
Registered Nurses with expertise in Nursing Practice are sought to develop and deliver quality customer-focused support to service users. Key responsibilities include practicing nursing according to national and local guidelines, maintaining a high standard of professional behavior, and respecting patient privacy and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a high level of English proficiency, and experience working with people with intellectual disabilities. The role involves working within a team to provide individualized programs and activities, contributing to the expansion of service provision within the local community, and adhering to Health Service Executive guidelines and policies. A valid Irish driving license and Garda vetting are required. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of €35,919-€53,851 per annum. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Nursing or nominee and will be expected to work 37.5 hours per week, including shifts, nights, and weekends. A probationary period of 6-9 months applies, and the employer will seek up to two written references from previous employers or educational institutions. The role is not limited to the listed duties, and the candidate will be required to perform any other duties assigned by their manager.
