We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Staff Nurse (RNID/RCN/RGN/RPN) to join our team in Children's Respite, Lavanagh House, Curraheen, Cork Contract Type: Permanent Contract Hours: Part-time (18.75 hours per week) and Full time (37.5 hours per week) Salary Scale: €34,492- €50,362 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments) Annual Leave Entitlement: 33/34/36 days pro rata (depending on experience) Overview of the Post: To work as part of a dedicated and innovative team in a 3 bed community based house providing respite and holiday breaks for children with disabilities, within a quality framework. To provide nursing care to meet the assessed needs of children, young people and their families. Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Please see Job Description for a full list of duties The successful candidate will have: Essential Criteria: Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: Be registered in the Intellectual Disability/Children's Nurse/General or Nurse Division of the live Register of Nurses kept by An Bord Altranais (NMBI); And Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, (including a high standard of clinical and administrative capacity), for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. Annual registration On appointment, practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) (Bord Altranais agus Cnimhseachais na hireann) Candidates should be eligible to work in Ireland Desirable Criteria: Experience of working with children with physical disabilities/ intellectual disabilities/ASD/ Behaviours of concern If you believe you would fit the role then please submit your application today.
