Position Summary This engineer will be responsible for understanding and supporting digital client applications and their interactions with service architecture and functionality, as well as executing operational support across the digital application ecosystem. This individual will have the chance to collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Programming, and Operations teams to align efforts toward shared company goals. The Staff Engineer will be part of a team of engineers navigating the technology-enabled transformation of the core business. Apply a reliability engineering approach to application development. Utilize CI/CD best practices for iterative enhancements. Enhance performance monitoring tools, focusing on media applications. Leverage industry-leading tools like Datadog, and Conviva to boost service reliability. Manage configurations across our service environment. Collaborate with elite engineering teams to analyze metrics and insights. Continuously refine SLIs, SLAs, and SLOs for our services. Provide advanced troubleshooting support for production services. Foster a culture of innovation and lead cross-organizational initiatives. Identify and propose new products and services to capitalize on market opportunities. General Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or related field, or equivalent experience. Proven track record in delivering exceptional operational support. Strong grasp of current AWS technologies. Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
