The Opportunity:

In this role, you will perform at the study level as a Support Statistician or Regional Statistician under the supervision of a more experienced Statistician, executing and validating routine statistical analyses.

As a Statistical Scientist, you can also support Statistical research on a specific topic under the guidance of a member of the Methodology & Simulations Group.

Key Activities for this role:

  • Reviews synopsis, protocol, statistical analysis plans (SAP), Case Report Form (CRF), Data Validation Plans, tables listings and figure (TLF) specifications.
  • Perform statistical analyses in accordance with protocol, SAP, good statistical practice, and available regulatory guidelines.
  • Review outputs for validity and completeness, QC inferential statistical analyses.
  • Monitor timelines and progress, participates in review meetings (e.g. TLF review meetings, classification meetings).
  • Review Clinical Study Reports (CSR), and other reports or publications.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in applying statistical methods in biomedical research, Pharma, CRO, Academia or Healthcare industry.
  • Experience within SAS, including data manipulation and analysis of a wide array of data sources/types. In addition, working knowledge of R is preferred.
  • Good understanding of statistical principles, methodologies and algorithms. This includes analysing and interpreting data in a research environment.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the other Data Science functions on global scale.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Educations/Qualifications:

  • PhD or M.S. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related scientific field, or equivalent.

Additional information:

  • The is a permanent full-time position based in the UK or Ireland.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and office working. The number of days in the office will depend on the location. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office
