Wexford €40 - €45kWe are seeking a skilled Steel Designer, responsible for producing detailed drawings and plans for steel structures.ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed drawings using Tekla Structures/Solid Works/Advance Steel for multiple steel assemblies.Prepare drawings for steel fabrication and installation processes.Examine and review architectural and structural plans, ensuring all detailing aligns with project specifications and industry standards.Liaise closely with managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.Isolate and resolve potential design problems before they escalate.Participate in project meetings to discuss technical issues required.Manage record keeping including up-to-date records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.Observe H&S legislation requirements throughout the design process.Support in the preparation of material take-offs and fabrication lists.QualificationsProven experience in designing structural steel components and assemblies.Solid understanding of steel fabrication processes and standards.Demonstratable aptitude to decipher technical drawings and specifications.Proficiency in other CAD software and Microsoft Office suite.Strong detail-oriented mindset and precision required.Good communication skills and comfortable working alone or with a team.Relevant educational qualification.Preferably, knowledge of Advance Steel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
