Steel Erecting Foreman We are currently recruiting for a Structural Steel Erecting Foreman responsible for assembling and installing structural steel components on site
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, and specifications to understand the scope of work and steel erection requirements.
Coordinate with the project manager, and other team members to plan and schedule the sequence of steel erection activities.Safely and efficiently assemble and install structural steel components, such as beams, columns, trusses, and girders, using appropriate tools and equipment.
Ensure accurate positioning and alignment of steel components by following the layout and set out provided by the set-out engineer.
Rig and lift heavy steel components into place using cranes or other lifting equipment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Monitor and adhere to all safety procedures and regulations to create a safe work environment for yourself and other team members.
