Job Description
We are seeking a Stock Controller to manage stock levels, maintain accurate records, and ensure seamless inventory management across our branches.
TJ O' Mahony, a leading Builders Providers and Home Improvement/DIY Store, is looking for a Permanent, full-Time Stock Controller to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant knowledge of building materials is an advantage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Determining optimal stock levels across all product lines to ensure sufficient stock without overstocking
- Ensuring accurate and timely receipt of goods from suppliers
- Maintaining and monitoring special orders and negative stocks
- Managing the Branch's goods inwards system and dealing with purchasing and redundant stock issues
- Policing goods storage, including meeting all Health and Safety requirements
- Working closely with the Group Stock Controller to achieve targets
- Coordinating regular stock takes and cycle counts
- Dealing with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring orders are received and processed appropriately

Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Saturday
