Job Description
Summary: Join our team as a Store Assistant in Shannon, responsible for day-to-day operations, including stock management, customer service, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily tasks to maintain exceptional standards of quality and efficiency
- Check deliveries and stock levels, loading trucks/vans with goods while adhering to H&S best practices
- Keep the yard tidy, swept and free of obstacles and near misses
- Deliver and collect goods as required, assist colleagues with loading and unloading vehicles
- Assist drivers with deliveries and collections in company vehicles
- Report for work in proper attire, clock start and finish times daily
- Identify low stocked products and report to front office staff
- Ensure stock is securely stored and no near miss hazards exist
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work environment
- Update management on any issues that may arise
- Provide high quality customer service at all times
- Adhere to all office policies and safely operate equipment, including forklift, compactor and coiling machine
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Replenishing stock experience
- Cash handling experience
- Store management skills
