Store Manager - Big Box Retail Our client, a well-established multinational retail chain, is looking for an experienced Store Manager to join their growing management team in Cork. This is an exciting opportunity for a retail professional with a strong background in leadership and visual merchandising within a high-volume environment. As Store Manager, you will lead a team of 60+ and focus on driving performance and improving business operations across the store. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years Store Management experience in Grocery, Non-Food, or high-volume Fashion. Key Responsibilities for this job: Lead, motivate, and develop a large team to ensure outstanding customer service and store performance. Achieve and exceed sales targets, manage budgets, and ensure profitability through effective cost control. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including stock management, merchandising, and ensuring a smooth, efficient customer experience. Manage stock levels and ensure timely replenishment, working closely with the stockroom team to keep the store well-stocked and organised. Implement and maintain effective security measures to minimise shrinkage and loss. Skills and Requirements for this job: 4+ years as a Store Manager driving turnovers of 10-15+ in a fast pace environment. Proven experience managing teams of 30+. Strong understanding of retail trends and the ability to maximise sales and profitability. Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
