As a Store Manager, you will lead a large team to achieve outstanding customer service and store performance. You will be responsible for managing budgets, ensuring profitability, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, motivate, and develop a large team to ensure outstanding customer service and store performance.
  • Sales & Financial Performance: Achieve and exceed sales targets, manage budgets, and ensure profitability through effective cost control.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including stock management, merchandising, and ensuring a smooth, efficient customer experience.
  • Customer Service: Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing customer queries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is well-presented, with products displayed to a high standard, maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Stock & Inventory Control: Manage stock levels and ensure timely replenishment, working closely with the stockroom team to keep the store well-stocked and organised.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, creating a safe environment for both customers and staff.
  • Security & Loss Prevention: Implement and maintain effective security measures to minimize shrinkage and loss.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous Store Management Experience: Proven experience managing a large retail store, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-product environment.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team to achieve their best.
  • Customer-Focused: Passion for delivering an excellent customer experience and solving issues quickly and effectively.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of retail trends and the ability to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Results-Driven: Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
