As a Store Manager, you will lead a large team to achieve outstanding customer service and store performance. You will be responsible for managing budgets, ensuring profitability, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, motivate, and develop a large team to ensure outstanding customer service and store performance.
- Sales & Financial Performance: Achieve and exceed sales targets, manage budgets, and ensure profitability through effective cost control.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including stock management, merchandising, and ensuring a smooth, efficient customer experience.
- Customer Service: Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing customer queries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is well-presented, with products displayed to a high standard, maximizing sales opportunities.
- Stock & Inventory Control: Manage stock levels and ensure timely replenishment, working closely with the stockroom team to keep the store well-stocked and organised.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, creating a safe environment for both customers and staff.
- Security & Loss Prevention: Implement and maintain effective security measures to minimize shrinkage and loss.
Key Requirements:
- Previous Store Management Experience: Proven experience managing a large retail store, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-product environment.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team to achieve their best.
