Store Manager Excel Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the operations of a key retail location in Cork. This role requires a strong leader with a solid background in retail management, who can drive sales, ensure operational excellence, and lead a dedicated team. Salary: €65k - €70k Responsibilities of this Store Manager: Manage daily store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience for customers. Drive sales performance by developing and implementing effective strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and minimising shrinkage. Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business goals. Handle all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and daily cash reconciliation. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and legal regulations. Manage visual merchandising to maintain a well-presented and inviting store environment. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders. Qualifications of this Store Manager: Proven experience in retail management, ideally as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on employee development. Excellent financial management skills, including experience with budgeting and cost control. Ability to develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth.
