Supermarket Store Manager Excel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Supermarket Store Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established and successful retail group in Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail professional to lead a busy store and drive its success. Offering a competitive salary of €60,000 - €65,000, this role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a proven track record in managing retail operations. Salary : €60k - €65k Responsibilities of this Store Manager: Oversee daily store operations, ensuring all departments run efficiently and in line with company standards. Lead and motivate the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets. Manage P&L (profit and loss) and implement margin control strategies to maximise profitability. Maintain effective stock control, ensuring product availability, minimising waste, and controlling stock shrinkage. Delegate tasks and manage staff performance to ensure smooth operations and high productivity. Analyse sales data to identify opportunities for business growth and develop strategies to increase store revenue. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Collaborate with senior management to achieve business goals and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs). Requirements of this Store Manager: Proven store management experience, ideally in a supermarket or large retail environment. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and delegate tasks to a large team effectively. Demonstrated expertise in P&L management, stock control, and margin control. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to drive sales and profitability through strategic decision-making. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on staff engagement and customer satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks to meet operational and business needs.
