Flexsource is seeking a Store Manager to oversee the efficient and profitable operation of a retail convenience store and forecourt in Glengarriff, West Cork.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the convenience store and forecourt sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Financial acumen and ability to analyse sales and financial reports.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, particularly regarding fuel handling.
- Proficiency in using retail management software and point-of-sale systems.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the retail convenience stores and forecourts.
- Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and product presentation.
- Conducting regular store audits to assess compliance and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Managing inventory levels and implementing effective stock control measures.
- Monitoring sales performance, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to drive sales growth.
- Ensuring a consistently high level of customer service across both locations.
- Handling customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Training staff to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues effectively.
- Overseeing the operations of the forecourt, including fuel sales and pump maintenance.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations for fuel storage and handling.
