Store Manager - New Store Opening - Galway About the Role: Our client is excited to announce the opening of our new store in Loughrea, Galway. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead the opening of the new branch. This is a fantastic job opportunity for a senior retail professional with a strong background in large-scale store management, particularly in Grocery, Non-food, or DIY retail sectors. The new store will offer an extensive range of products across Home, DIY, Gardening, and Seasonal categories. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all daily store operations to ensure a smooth and efficient environment. Lead, motivate, and develop a dynamic team to provide excellent customer service. Manage inventory and stock levels, ensuring optimal product availability. Implement sales and marketing strategies to drive store performance and customer engagement. Ensure the store complies with all health, safety, and operational standards. Monitor financial performance, including sales, budgets, and profit margins. Collaborate with senior management to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and local community. Analyse categories, margin and participation and react accordingly Drive KPI's and P&L Ideal candidate Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a senior management role within Grocery, Non-food, or DIY retail. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a large team. Commercial awareness and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities. Experience in inventory management, financial analysis, and operational efficiency.
