Full Driving License Required About Us: CRP Group are currently working alonside a leading provider of hydraulic products and services, offering top-quality solutions to customers across various industries. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Stores Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of our Centre, providing excellent customer service and assisting with stock control, product assembly, and depot maintenance. Key Functions & Responsibilities: Trade Counter: Serve as the first point of contact for customers visiting the Centre. Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to all customers. Ensure you are well-presented and wear appropriate PPE as required. Assist customers with: Off-the-shelf product sales. Assembling and replacing hydraulic hoses to customer specifications. Using correct hose assembly procedures. Accurately record and process jobs using IT systems. Actively promote our products and services to customers. Stock Control: Distribute stock to Mobile Technicians. Order replacement stock and maintain optimal stock levels. Adjust stock records and manage write-offs as needed. Report any stock issues to the Centre Manager immediately. Depot Operations: Ensure the depot is clean, presentable, well-stocked, and properly merchandised at all times. Use company vehicles to deliver products when required. Participate in depot meetings and training courses as requested. Maintain general depot housekeeping and support the day-to-day operation of the Centre. Additional Duties: Assist Centre staff with various tasks as needed. Perform any other duties to help ensure smooth business operations. Desirable Skills and Experience: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Proactive with problem-solving skills. Solid literacy and numeracy skills, approachable, and adaptable. Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook (training on job/stock management systems provided). Previous experience in assembling hydraulic hoses is an advantage but not essential. Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
