Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Transaction Support professional to join our Financial Services team in Dublin, where you will assist clients throughout the entire transaction process and deepen your deal knowledge.
About the Role:
- As a member of our Financial Services Transaction Support team, you will work closely with specialists within Strategy and Transactions and other EY Service Lines to deliver high-profile engagements.
- You will assist clients in strategic assessment, transaction management, negotiation, and documentation, and post-completion processes.
- Key responsibilities include analysing financial and operational results, preparing analyses of historical and pro forma financial information, and performing industry and company research.
- You will work effectively as a team member, demonstrating commitment to quality, sharing responsibility, and maintaining communication with senior team members.
- Assist in creating a positive learning culture for more junior team members and support their development.
- Embrace digital disruption and the insight available from data analytics to enhance how we collaborate and work with our clients.
- Prepare client deliverables, including Excel databook analysis, reports, presentations, and discussion packs.
- Assist in managing the input of other service lines to the assignment, gaining a full understanding of the key issues for the proposed transaction.
Requirements:
- Strong academic record, including a degree in Business/Commerce or equivalent qualification.
- Commercial awareness, preferably gained through direct experience of the financial services sector.
- Willingness to become ACA/ACCA qualified.
