We are growing our Deloitte Consulting practice and are seeking an experienced Manager/ Senior Manager to join our Strategy and Business Design team. As a Manager, you will work with C-Suite level stakeholders to develop new strategies, shape and deliver business transformation, and design operating models, seeking to shape and initiate strategic direction (both organic and inorganic), define vision and choices, support performance and enable change. You will learn from a group of experienced strategists and industry experts from a diverse range of backgrounds. You'll also benefit from being part of the wider Deloitte Strategy and business design community in the Europe and globally, with opportunities to learn best practice strategy and transaction techniques across industries. Beyond the Strategy and Business Design team, you will build a network with industry-experts across Deloitte Consulting, in digital, marketing, financial advisory, regulatory and operations. About the role: As a Manager/ Senior Manager your responsibilities will include: Leadership & Development: Independently manage an engagement/ major workstream in a large programme and provide the final point of review on deliverables. Support the team throughout projects, ensuring the workload is manageable and perform regular project retrospectives Analysis and insight: Lead the execution of rigorous and insightful analysis, build an evidence base to support strategy development and change, and develop and communicate informed recommendations that shape or support the clients' business strategy Project delivery excellence: Independently lead engagements from scoping through delivery by managing engagement teams and working with Deloitte Partners and other internal teams to help clients solve their most significant strategic challenges Client service: Manage day-to-day client expectations, using skills and subject/ industry expertise to shape strategic hypotheses and recommendations. Communicate effectively and proactively with clients and colleagues, becoming a trusted advisor for clients Project management: Plan and manage moderately complex engagements on time and within budget, including billing, quality control, risk management, and team planning Business development: Take a leadership role in the management of the practice and business development with clients. Recognise opportunities for broader business / technology offerings and take ownership for developing sales materials as a key contributor to the pursuit process. People development: Mentoring junior colleagues, helping them to build technical as well as soft skills and coaching them to achieve their career aspirations Subject matter expertise: Build personal brand and expertise. Proactively develop your own skills, seeking feedback, building knowledge, and sharing your insight with colleagues About you: Extensive experience of leading strategy development, operating model or business transformation. Experience in M&A consulting or a corporate strategy delivery role, delivering large-scale strategic transformation programmes Demonstratable stakeholder and team management, with experience leading project teams and being responsible for delivering business critical outcomes in a time-pressured environment Ability to use issue-led problem solving, comfort with ambiguity, ability to adapt and learn quickly to think creatively to solve client issues Strong analytical skills, with the ability to undertake analysis and generate insights and recommendations Ability to distil complex ideas into simple concepts and clearly and concisely deliver key messages Good understanding of how to construct and evidence strategic arguments, structure analysis and ability to understand market challenges and opportunities Consumer and Energy Industry experience in Food and Beverage, Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Agri, Energy, Sustainability, Energy, Resources, Industrials is desirable Postgraduate or professional qualification (e.g., MBA or equivalent) with strong financial analysis and modelling skills is advantageous Flexibility to travel If you believe that you meet most of the criteria above, we encourage you to apply.
