ProSource Group are seeking a Structural Design Engineer on behalf of a leading multidisciplinary engineering firm in Dublin. The company provide a wide range of services including Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and more. €40,000 - €50,000 + package on offer. Your main duties will include, but not be limited to: Structural Analysis and Design: Perform structural analysis and design for a wide range of construction projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Design Development: Collaborate with project teams to develop and refine structural designs, incorporating client requirements and architectural concepts. Technical Expertise: Apply engineering principles and best practices to create cost-effective and innovative structural solutions. Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of quality control, reviewing design calculations and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication of design concepts. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design reports, drawings, and specifications for use by project teams and clients. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineering. To be successful in your application you will possess the following: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) with a recognised professional engineering institution. Proven experience in structural design for construction projects, preferably within the Irish construction industry. Proficiency in structural design software and familiarity with relevant design codes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
