Structural Engineer (Chartered) | Hybrid or Remote | €Neg & BenefitsOur client, a Tier 1 civil engineering construction designer/consultancy, with interests in Ireland & UK, require a Structural Engineer within their expanding design hub.They design, manufacture, supply and fit ‘innovative’ structural and building solutions. Previous experience of precast, concrete & steel frame, cladding, curtain walling, modular, or other ‘off-site’ sectors would be advantageous.You will be an integral member of the ‘design team’, reporting to the Director of Civil. Previous experience of AutoCad and knowledge of BIM, Revit, and other packages such as SCIA, Civil 3D, Tekla, or similar would be advantageous but not necessary.Markets include power generation, power supply, wind and renewable energy including generic structures, mass & precast concrete, and structural steel frames.Responsibilities:Review and monitor the Clients design proposals and manage the design process from conceptual and final design to approval stage.Monitor, manage, and approve design changes in conjunction with production, installation, and commercial teams, ensuring program and cost effects are agreed.Liaise with procurement department / manufacturing functions to ensure that necessary materials are procured on time and within budgets.Responsible for leading and developing technical and engineering support in relation to current and new products/systems development.Required:Degree/Diploma qualified in Structural Engineering or Architecture, with a minimum of 3 years postgraduate and proven design experience.Structural engineering design of precast or off-site construction would be an advantage.Commercial awareness and client interfacing experience are essential.Hybrid working options & minimum travel (if any).Connect with Barry Kelly on LinkedIn, also email barry.kelly@icds.ie and search ICDS Group at www.icds.ie/build #J-18808-Ljbffr
