Structural Engineer Dublin, Ireland. €40,000 - €55,000 plus benefitsAn independent, multidisciplinary consultancy in Dublin, Ireland, are on the lookout for a Structural Engineer with around 3-5 years of design experience to join the team in a permanent capacity.The company, based centrally in D02, are home to over 60 technical staff across all disciplines including Civil and Structural, Architecture, Project Management and M&E. The current Civil and Structural department numbers at around 15 staff including some dedicated technicians and the company work with large blue-chip companies across Ireland and the world.For this position, the ideal Structural Engineer will require:Minimum 2:1 degree in related engineering or associated technical degreeMinimum 3+ years relevant experience in a consultancy environmentWriting of engineering reportsUndertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigationsAbility with specific computer software for developing detailed designsUndertaking and understanding complex calculationsKnowledge of legal requirementsExperience of project Health and safety requirementsExperience of the sustainability and environmental impact of projectsExperience of wider project issuesDuties and Responsibilities of a Structural Engineer:Project DesignGathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined proceduresLiaising with clients and a variety of professionals including Architects and ContractorsDeveloping and solving design problemsIdentifies discrepancies in resultsProvides guidance to entry level engineersResponsible for elements of Project DeliveryResponsible for elements of Project Quality AssuranceContribute to Company Objectives by achieving individual KPIs as laid out by line managerIf this sounds like you, please contact Andrew Wilson at Calibre Search.Calibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
