Job Description
Seeking an Engineer to work as a Structural Project Engineer, assisting in the design, supervision and monitoring of building projects across various sectors, including Industrial, Residential, Commercial, Educational, Healthcare and Civic Buildings, for a company based in Dublin, Ireland.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design of building structures to the Eurocodes using various materials
- Preparing manual calculations and using software packages such as Tekla Structural Designer, Robot and TEDDS
- Maintaining design folders and communicating with internal and external parties
- Preparation of design drawings and review of drawings prepared by others
- Undertaking site inspections and report writing
- Review of Contractor and Design Team proposals
- Assisting in undertaking duties of the PSDP, Assigned Certifier and Ancillary Certifier
- Requirements:
- Enthusiastic and diligent team player with strong technical knowledge of structural engineering and the construction process
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Knowledge of Revit desirable
- Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Education:
- Third Level Engineering Qualification (Level 8 or higher)
