Job Description
We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 3-5 years of design experience to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 degree in a related engineering field, and experience with engineering reports, technical studies, and specific computer software.
- Minimum 2:1 degree in a related engineering field
- Minimum 3+ years relevant experience in a consultancy environment
- Writing of engineering reports
- Undertaking technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations
- Ability with specific computer software for developing detailed designs
- Undertaking and understanding complex calculations
- Knowledge of legal requirements
- Experience of project Health and safety requirements
- Experience of the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
- Wider project issues
- Project Design
- Liaising with clients and professionals
- Developing and solving design problems
- Identifying discrepancies in results
- Providing guidance to junior engineers
- Contributing to company objectives
