Student Recruitment Officer Cork English Academy is a leading provider of English language courses to international, adult students. Based in the heart of Cork city, our school operates year round. Cork English Academy is recognized by ACELS, a service of Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), for English language teaching and we are a member of EEI. We are now recruiting for a Student Recruitment Officer with English and Spanish. Student Recruitment - English and Spanish Languages Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our marketing team, focusing on student recruitment through two key streams: Direct International Student Recruitment – Engaging with prospective students via digital channels, social media, WhatsApp, website inquiries, and email. Student Recruitment through 3rd Party Language Travel Agencies – Building relationships, developing business opportunities, and conducting online training for agencies. This role will support the Marketing Manager by executing strategies, plans, and campaigns to drive student enrollment for Cork English Academy. Key Responsibilities: 1. Direct International Student Recruitment Manage and respond to student inquiries through various digital channels (social media, WhatsApp, website, and email). Execute direct sales strategies to engage with prospective students and drive enrollments. Create and manage engaging content across social media platforms to promote our courses and school. Monitor and optimize digital campaigns to maximize reach and effectiveness. Provide exceptional customer service, guiding students from initial contact through to course registration. 2. Student Recruitment through 3rd Party Language Travel Agencies Implement business development initiatives to expand agency partnerships. Provide training and updates to agencies on our courses, services, and marketing materials through online presentations and meetings. Required Skills & Qualifications: Advanced English and Spanish Experience in sales, marketing, or student recruitment, particularly within the education or travel sector. Strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A proactive attitude with the ability to build relationships and work independently. Experience in business development, preferably in an international context, is a plus. Fluency in English essential. Other languages an advantage Permission to work in the EU. Reporting Line: The new hire will report to and work in close daily contact with the Marketing Manager to discuss and implement strategies, plans, and campaigns. For HR-related matters such as appraisals, wages, holidays, and other administrative concerns, the new hire will report directly to the Managing Director.
