STS Group employs the best people, invests heavily in training and education ensuring that the highest standards of health, safety and governance are applied throughout the organisation *This company is an equal opportunities employer* Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the day to day managing of the site and Electricians Supervision of Electrical mechanical containment install – Cable Ladder, Cable Tray, Conduits , Trunking and other appropriate first fix electrical requirements including bracketry according to electrical standards. Supervision of glanding and terminations of Steel Wire Armour (SWA) and Aluminium Wire Armour (AWA) cabling according to local standards. Ability to lead and take ownership of electrical packages under tight schedule deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. – Informing site management of any delays and proposing alternatives to mitigate these delays. Understand the importance of safety and follow local site safety guidelines. Essential Skills/Experience Locally recognised and fully certified Electrician with experience across a wide range of large scale industrial projects. 5+ years’ experience as electrical supervisor or similar experience in management of large scale, high headcount electrical projects ideally Pharmaceutical or Data Centre’s Computer literate (MS Office package) Ability to read and understand detailed electrical drawings. Understanding of site Health and Safety guidelines and ability to uphold and implement these guidelines with workforce being supervised * Demonstrable experience in supervisory ownership of Electrical packages such as * Mechanical Electrical containment (Ladder Rack/Trunking/Tray/Bracketry) * Fire Alarm * General services – small power * Security and access control * Instrumentation * Local safety site certification such as “Safepass” and “Manual handling” Desired skills / Experience: * Formal qualifications in Electrical Engineering (University or similar) * Medium Voltage (MV) experience. * Electrical Testing Experience. * BIM Experience using Navisworks, BIM360 and Autodesk docs * ISO19650 experience. * Driving Licence. * Willing to travel. * IPAF MEWP Licence.
