Job Summary:
Provide financial analysis to Operational & Finance management on the financial performance of a portfolio of work within the ICON Biotech Solutions (IBT) team.
- Manage the financial management of multiple portfolios of work within the IBT portfolio
- Manage a team of finance professionals to deliver best in class financial support to operational teams
- Conduct periodic financial reviews with operational leadership teams to discuss study financial health and agree appropriate actions
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for operations with insightful and action-oriented commentary
- Support the preparation of monthly financial forecasts and budget reconciliations
- Identify key Revenue and Margin drivers within the portfolio
- Support the preparation of ad-hoc management presentations
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- 3+ years prior relevant experience in financial analysis or financial planning and analysis
- Analytically minded, seeks out problem-solving opportunities
- Effective interpersonal skills (verbal and written) to communicate with peers, managers, and Business Lead executives
- Eagerness to learn and develop as an ICON employee and member of the Clinical Research Industry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
