A Supply Chain Manager is sought to join a manufacturing company in Co. Cavan, leading sustainability efforts and contributing to the company's success. Key duties include developing procurement strategies, overseeing supply chain operations, and building supplier relationships. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, 5+ years of experience, and strong negotiation and analytical skills.   • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.

  • Oversee the evaluation and negotiation with suppliers to ensure cost, quality, and delivery reliability.

  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

  • Oversee forecast inventory needs, prevent stockouts, and optimize inventory levels to balance costs and production.

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with standards.

  • Monitor supplier performance and lead audits to ensure adherence to quality, cost, and delivery KPIs.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline processes, and manage supply chain risks.

  • Present insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business goals.

  • Lead, mentor, and set performance objectives for the supply chain team, fostering a culture of improvement.

  • Analyze data and report key supply chain metrics to senior management for strategic decision-making.


Requirements include:

  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.

  • 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role. Manufacturing environment essential.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills with proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.

  • Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making and trend analysis.
