Job Description
Summary: We are seeking a Supply Chain Senior Project Manager to lead the Supply Chain Development team in driving strategic support to the wider Supply Chain network.
Role Overview:
This is a hybrid role based in Cork or Dublin, requiring attendance on various sites and occasional international travel. The successful candidate will join a high-performing team delivering strong support to the Supply Chain network in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and initiate Supply Chain improvement projects
- Represent Supply Chain and present project outcomes and business cases effectively at board level
- Work cross-functionally to understand wider business needs and the key role Supply Chain plays
- Support strategic transport network design and warehouse/layout/process design
- Identify and research warehouse automation and advanced transport technologies
- Manage the tendering of 3PL contracts
- Support and enable operational teams on tactical improvement projects
- Provide thought leadership and innovation, staying up-to-date with leading-edge industry developments in Supply Chain
- Lead and develop a highly motivated professional team
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in transformational, strategic development roles in logistics, retail, or FMCG manufacturing
- Track record of delivering multimillion €/£ projects
- Experience of presenting at board level
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Relevant qualification(s), preferably a Master's degree in an appropriate discipline
- Evidence of continuous improvement skills, such as lean qualifications
- Ability to influence teams across the business and work to structured deadlines and project management disciplines
