Job Description

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and effective planning, and contributing to the overall success of pharmaceutical production and distribution processes.

• Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and distribution.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
• Implement and monitor supply chain KPIs to drive performance improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Manage inventory levels to meet production and sales demands while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
• Ensure alignment of production plans with sales forecasts and customer orders.
• Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply of materials.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Utilize data analysis and supply chain modelling techniques to inform decision-making and optimize operations.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain management preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM) is highly desirable.
