Role: Supply Chain Technician - Please note this a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months and it will be a shift role Primary contributions and purpose: Member of the ADL Supply Chain team with responsibility for Product Distribution, Dispensing of Product, Raw Materials and Components and Material Management. Introduction: Amgen Dun Laoghaire (ADL) is expanding its operation and will introduce a product distribution process for the delivery of finished drug product to Logistical Service Providers and Healthcare Providers. The Supply Chain team will be responsible for the pick and pack & shipping processes related to this distribution activity. The Supply Chain team are hiring people to join the team that will be responsible for all material management activities to include receipt of incoming materials, storage in controlled room temperature and cold chain environments, dispensing of materials to manufacturing, pick and pack of finished drug product for end users and shipment of materials from site. The team in a fully integrated, multifunctional team that is sufficiently cross trained in multiple areas to ensure a varied work environment and to provide the required flexibility to the business. Supply Chain Technicians are required to work a variety of shift patterns (including days, 2, 3 and 4 Rota shifts) and support after hours requests. Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Work in assigned area as determined by Shift Supervisor Accountable for the upkeep and updating of area metrics and performance boards Responsible for executing requisite transactions on business systems to include SAP and PAS-X Escalation of issues accurately and in a timely manner Equipment and process problem solving Responsible for pick and pack activities for distribution of finished product to LSP's and for direct distribution to end users Actively prioritizes individual workload based on department needs/ schedule Any other reasonable duties as requested by their supervisor Responsible to perform all activities in compliance with Amgen safety standards and site safety procedures and raise any safety issues through a See Card and to Associate, Snr Associate or Area Manager. Responsible for notifying and escalating to management when a Non-Conformance has occurred Responsible for complying with cGMP's manufacturing processes Support Lean Transformation and Operational Excellence initiatives and participate in team meetings (i.e. Kaizen; Work Center Teams; etc.) Support continuous improvement in the area by identifying and recommending process/product improvements. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Any previous experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse, Logistics or related area would be advantageous Any third level qualification in Supply Chain or a relevant discipline would also be an advantage.
