Supply Planners x 2

A dynamic and growing international FMCG brand have created 2 new vacancies due to continued expansion into new markets. Previous experience with Supply Planning in a complex, international network is essential.


The Supply Planners are accountable for the efficient and effective execution of the Supply Planning process at, including all materials ordering & balancing to allow for timely production.

The Supply Planner will create, maintain, manage and report on the 12-month supply, materials and inventory availability plan, on a weekly basis to ensure effective continuity of supply of all required finished goods.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage delivery performance versus the replenishment schedule, with root cause analysis.
  • Management and prioritization of shortages and plan change requests with Demand Planning.
  • Calculation of raw material requirements to support long term production plans.
  • Regular reconciliation of raw material inventory pre & postproduction and at month end.
  • Master Data set up and maintenance of all raw material inventory items.

Key Metrics & Financial Targets:

  • Fill rate
  • OTIF measures
  • Production Slack and Optimisation
  • Lead Time to Customer
  • Lot sizing and EOQ metrics for materials ordering

Own:

  • Planning and delivering optimal inventory levels for both raw material & finished goods.
  • Monitor market demand across the various markets to ensure best possible availability, whilst balancing the cost of inventory capital, capacity constraints and plant production efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 35 years of progressive supply planning and raw materials procurement & management experience
  • Experience across key supply chain areas across supply planning.
  • Experience of participating in innovation & new product introduction projects.
  • Advanced EXCEL skills
