As a Support Engineer (Software Development & Infrastructure), you will play a pivotal role within the client’s support team, contributing to the development of innovative solutions. Their collaborative approach with clients, coupled with a commitment to innovation, has resulted in a continuously expanding portfolio of satisfied clients globally.Responsibilities:Product Configuration & Support:Collaborate with the support team to develop innovative solutions.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance offerings for clients.Troubleshoot systems and application issues, offering comprehensive analysis and solutions.Propose improvements and contribute to best practices through product review.Set up, configure, and customize existing and new systems.Infrastructure & Operation Support:Provide technical guidance and support in product infrastructure and network management.Engage in DevOps responsibilities.Monitoring:Maintain high-performance OLTP systems capable of handling millions of transactions daily.Configure monitoring systems for optimized performance analysis.Perform JVM tuning and infrastructure optimization tasks.Collaborate with development teams to optimize Java application performance aligned with infrastructure requirements.Deployment & CI/CD:Provide technical guidance in Java application deployment processes.Deploy applications effectively while supporting product deployment activities.Key Requirements:We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience, demonstrating expertise in:Software Development with Support Experience or Infrastructure/Operation Management with Support Experience.Monitoring JVM performance, including garbage collection, memory management, and thread handling.Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Solid understanding of relational databases (MSSQL Server or similar) and SQL queries, Linux environment administration, containerization technologies like Kubernetes, and network architectures.Desired Experience:Proficiency in implementing and managing CI/CD tools.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.Personal Skills and Traits:Open-minded, easy-going, humble, and hardworking.Possess strong collaboration skills with a passion for standards and best practices.Focused on solutions, actively sharing knowledge, and learning new techniques.Structured with good attention to detail.Creative individuals who take initiative.If you are interested, please apply or email darragh@redchair.ie #J-18808-Ljbffr
