Support Pharmacist role in Castletroy, Limerick, for Ireland's leading pharmacy chain, with a dynamic and diverse work environment.

Our client, a leading pharmacy chain, is seeking a Support Pharmacist to join their team in Castletroy, Limerick. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy, adhering to statutory regulations, and providing excellent customer care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strictly observe statutory regulations relating to the supply of medicinal products as per the pharmacy Act 2007.
• Adhere to dispensing standard operating procedures and maintain appropriate records and hygiene within the pharmacy as per the Pharmacy Act 2008.
• Ensure that any issues of a Health and Safety nature are brought to the attention of the managing pharmacist.
• Fulfil the required advisory role in relation to over the counter medicines and ensure that staff on the medicine counter are aware of the procedure for counter prescribing and their limitations.

Requirements:

• Registered with the PSI.
• Genuine passion for meeting the needs of customers and a love for customer interaction.
• A personable communicator with the ability and desire to build rapport with customers.
• A genuine commitment to delivering and maintaining excellent customer care in a community-based pharmacy.
