Job Summary: Squarespace seeks a Developer Relations Engineer to support developers with API offerings, provide technical product suite expertise, and contribute to the team through coding, communication, and API documentation.Summary: We're looking for a skilled developer to join our Support Platform team, supporting external developers, stakeholders, and businesses, and helping maintain technical documentation on our Developer Portal.About the Role: As a Developer Relations Engineer, you will:

  • Advise business partners on integration best practices with Squarespace Platform(s)
  • Help troubleshoot advanced issues on the Squarespace Developer Platform
  • Resolve technical issues by filing, managing, and evaluating bugs and improvements with Product and Engineering teams
  • Support business-to-business (B2B) inquiries and escalations through technical consultations, email, and persistent chats
  • Advocate on behalf of the developer community by collecting and distilling developer feedback to validate and influence product and engineering decisions
  • Help maintain developer-facing technical documentation on our Developer Portal
  • Support our APIs, webhooks, OAuth product
Requirements: We're looking for a developer with 2+ years of Development background and experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java. You should have experience with web development, APIs (REST, OAuth), microservices, and databases, as well as experience looking into unfamiliar code to gain insight into underlying issues and integrating and troubleshooting APIs. Additionally, you should be able to describe the structure, characteristics, and behavior of software to assorted team members who consume it.Company Overview: Squarespace is a design-driven platform helping entrepreneurs build brands and businesses online.
