We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Support Worker in the Nursing Unit Childrens Services to join our team in Ballintemple, Cork.
Contract Type: Specified Purpose Contract (to cover leave of term-time post)
Contract Hours: 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Salary Scale: The current salary scale for this post is €32,639 - €39,499 pro-rata per annum (based on full time). For part-time hours and term time post (i.e €13,809 - €16,711).
Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days pro-rata per annum for part-time hours and term-time post and proportionately less for less than 12 months service.

The role of the Support Worker is to work as part of a dedicated and innovative team to provide individualised services to children with disabilities who attend the School of the Divine Child.

o Pre Nursing
o Childcare
(8 modules to include one module on special needs/disability studies/challenging behaviour or a commitment to complete one of these modules within 6-months of commencement)
