Job Description
Support Worker (HCA) role requires providing services to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors, promoting community inclusion and equal citizenship.

Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting service users with daily living activities, promoting independence and community inclusion
- Assisting individuals with reduced mobility and accompanying them to appointments and events
- Managing challenging behaviors using positive behavior support plans
- Providing reports on client activities and contributing to staff meetings
Essential criteria include:
- Permission to work in Ireland
- QQI Level 5 major award in Health or Social Care or equivalent
Desirable skills and experience include:
- Experience in healthcare or social care settings
- Report writing and client support planning skills
- Full driver's license category B
- Previous epilepsy/BUCCAL training and patient manual handling training

Probation period: 6 months. Vetting and reference checks will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
